Two of James passions in life are Art and Photography. As a kid, James was gifted with his Grandfather’s black and white camera which he used to capture everyday life with a keen interest in people. In the early eighties, James was enlisted in the US Air force and both James passions became hobbies to him. On leaving the US Air force, James pursued a career in sales leading dynamic sales teams in the IT industry both in the US and Asia. In 2004, James took a year off to pursue his dream of being an artist and participated in a charity art exhibition together with a close friend in support of the Malaysian Cancer Society and it was at this Art Exhibition, that James painted the then Prime Minister of Malaysia live on stage – an art form called Happening Art. James believes that photography is an extension of art. His eye for composition and his vision for light enable him to create his photographs. He loves sharing his experience with others. James views the art of photography as a subtractive process, a distilling of reality into a personal vision.
James is an excellent team player and works very well with people.
